When we are hit with what some are calling “the worst financial crisis since the great depression,” which was in part caused by our chief economic advisor/ex-economic advisor/again chief economic advisor Phil Gramm, please DO NOT write an article in John’s name saying:
“Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation.”
(paul, I don’t care you wrote it a couple of weeks ago when we were sitting on our stacks of money and we were ALL ABOUT DEREGULATION AND HOW GREAT IT IS EVEN THOUGH WE’RE NOW REALLY AGAINST DEREGULATION WHICH IS BAD, BAD)
I MEAN FOR FUCK’S SAKE, WE MIGHT AS WELL HAVE PICKED A MOOSE-HUNTER FROM ALASKA WHO IS MIRED IN AN ETHICS INVESTIGATION AND CHARGED ALASKAN TAXPAYERS FOR 312 NIGHTS SHE STAYED AT HOME AS VICE PRESIDENT
